Butterflies

Today was the first day back to work and normal life! I didn't have a full work day like usual but it still felt full - had a bunch of errands to run (especially to get storage bins for my scrapbooking stuff and Christmas stuff), work, and then the gym. Phew. It feels really, really good to be back in a routine, though, even though I enjoyed the break immensely!

Butterflies are the main thing in this apartment! I've been working on this quilt non.stop. for about a week (okay, I actually made something in between, that's an exaggeration - more on that later next week when I can reveal it). I love how they're coming out, especially because I designed the block and layout myself. I have a quilt top now - these HSTs have been sitting around in my WIP/UFO bin for months, and I love seeing them all sewn together! This quilt has a deadline of SUNDAY so you can bet I will be working away at it the next few days as well. Reveal next week! Ironically, I also have butterflies in my stomach for a new job possibility. We shall see!
