I finally got the chance to make a penant banner for my friend, Melissa, who just got a new apartment and is starting grad school this week! I am SO proud of her. I found out what colors she was decorating with (red, brown, and I threw in some cream for good measure) and sent her this penant banner :)
And now it's hanging in her living room - I love the way she chose to hang it!
It was a super easy craft that I'm sure I will be reciprocating sometime in the near future, maybe even when I move into my apartment with Mike.
And here are a couple of sneak peeks at the wedding crafts we did this weekend ("we" being my mom and I)... we also finished the centerpieces (that pumpkin is just the start) and finished remaking her veil! It's getting close now!
Doing lots of crafts, quilting, and packing this week before school starts!

I'm envisioning those skewered into pumpkins as table markers. Love the use of scrabble letters. I always support spunk and personality, especially at weddings!
