Guest Blogging on Color Harmony!

Today, you can read me over at The Elven Garden, where my friend Jess asked me to guest post as part of the Colour Theory for Quilters Series!

I made up a bunch of pretty fabric bundles, and explained what I know about matching colors with the help of the handy-dandy color wheel. Plus, I included a whole slew of resources. And yes, I did change ALL of my "color"s to "colour" just for Jess ;)

Hope you enjoy the post - let me know if you have any questions! I really, really enjoyed putting this one together :)

  1. LOVE your post at The Elven Garden!!! Thank you for going to all the trouble to teach us this valuable lesson and introduce us to the fabulous tool for choosing color!!!

  2. Great post although I found the tiny grey text on the white background very hard to read on my iPad (which has an anti-glare sheet on the screen). I couldn't enlarge it too much because it was then too wide for the screen and a pain to be shuffling around! All that said, it has nothing to do with you and is entirely the responsibility of the blog owner and the iPad owner!

So, great post. Perhaps one thing to add -- there is a cool version and a warm version of every colour and choosing the wrong one can sometimes make what would be a great colour scheme "fail"!
