WIP Wednesday

It's a huge week for quilting around here! I'm awaiting a commission in the mail plus some Aurifil thread; in the meantime, I've found other projects to keep me occupied. Well, really though, my to-make list for the next couple of months is quite long, so I had to organize myself and start somewhere. That's what my Quilter's Planner is for!

I am itching to finish and quilt this for the Rainbow Mini Quilt Swap at Mid-Atlantic Mod retreat in April. Whoever gets mine will be taking home a little bit of trademark me, plus some exciting quilting - can you guess what the next addition will be?

In-progress photos are fun.

I'm rushing to finish quilting a quilt for my mom. I don't think my machine has ever run so fast!! She's got a short deadline, but I was still able to teach her how to quilt in the meantime. It was an exciting experience for us to bond through. I talked more about this in yesterday's newsletter and will be sure to discuss more when the quilt is finished. :)

I can't WAIT to share my finished Epic Medallion Quilt with you on Friday!! It's already washed and on our bed! See you then!

  1. The Epic Medallion is finished! Congratulations, I am super excited to read all about it. And I am going to guess that orange peels are going to get added... we'll see if I'm right. :)
