*This giveaway is now closed, and the winner, Melissa, has been contacted! Congrats!!*
I'm excited to announce that Aurifil is an official sponsor of this blog! If you've never heard of Aurifil threads, you're in for a treat!
Aurifil thread is known for their cotton (in 12, 28, 40, and 50 weights), but they also produce floss, wool, variegated polyester for the longarm, and monofilament invisible thread. My machine (a Janome MC 6300) loves Aurifil mainly because it doesn't tangle and creates very little lint (apparently unusual for a cotton thread). By the way, if you'd like to see videos of how to use the thread for different purposes, check out this page on their site.
Cotton Color Chart - courtesy of Aurifil - just a few in the spectrum!
Plus, Aurifil thread is super fine (I use 50 weight primarily) and I love that my bobbins fill up a bit more than other threads I've used. I feel like I'm getting more for my money's worth! Plus, it comes in 252 colors, many of which are available at the Fat Quarter Shop. I've been using it for my piecing and quilting since 2014 and I haven't looked back (Dove Gray #2600 is my most often used color).
Aurifil is a huge supporter of the quilting and sewing community, and I'm proud to partner with them!
