The Quilting Master

IT'S DONE!!! "IT" being my wedding quilt :) At the guild retreat today, I finished the FMQ after agonizing for months (I'm really not trying to be dramatic here, just keepin' it real) about how I would quilt each section!

The light was pretty good for quilting but not so good for photos!

I've been working on it for three years and all I have left is the binding!!!!! I couldn't just wait for a finish post to share this pic, lol. :) I feel like a quilting rockstar right now... *flexes very sore quilting arms*... and no, I didn't have the foresight to buy quilting gloves. Guess what's on this list when I visit the quilt store on Tuesday?

I had a fantastic, relaxing (well, as relaxing as hard work can be!) day with my guild friends :) I hope you're also having a productive weekend!
