Chain piecing is good for the soul

I've only been sewing for two years. Until now, whenever I saw someone in blogland talking about how awesome chain piecing was, I didn't really understand how to do it. But it really was just too easy. :)

Don't mind the crazy hair
Can you guess what I'm making? (it might not be too difficult, on second thought!)

  1. Are you making a dresden plate? :) I have some charm squares I got in a recent swap I am thinking to use for a dresden plate quilt. I love chain piecing! It's making my current quilt go quickly too.. yours looks lovely so far! Pretty fabrics :)

  3. Chain piecing is so wonderful. I love doing it. But that bring lots of ironing which I don't really care for, LOL! I love fabric in a rainbow pattern.

At first, I didn't understand chain piecing either; now I use it as much as possible.
