ReplyDeleteI love this quilt! I have to say that I saw a combo yesterday at our workshop that blew me away - indigo, lighter blue and orange - it was fabulous and I'm currently obsessing over it! o:) thanks so much for the change to win!

As far as colors go, perhaps teal, yellow and spring green on a white or off-white background.

I have trouble narrowing down quilt color choices. What do I like? Just about everything! If I must pick, I think I could work with some primary colors with red in the lead. Love your finished quilt! I love how the scrappy low-volume really make the bold colors shine.

ReplyDeleteI've made two and have sufficient fabric for two more in grey/taupe and green/turquoise. Two years ago I would have laughed if you'd told me I would be using these colors.

ReplyDeleteYour quilt and design is inspiring! My current favorite color combo is grays and gold. My daughter's apartment uses these colors, so that's what I'd use with this pattern.

ReplyDeleteRight now I'm still in pink and green phase with maybe a touch of brown...I just got out of a black, red and white phase. Of course I always loves scrappy blues...again with a touch of brown....and after seeing Thelma Childers beautiful Coastal Lilies quilt (a winner at Paducah this year) I want to pull out all my grays and use them with pops of color. Oh my----I don't think I have a FAVORITE combo, do you?
