Nearly Wordless WIP Wednesday

Thank you for all the love on my FMQ Journey post! It sounds like a lot of you have similar journeys to my own!

Current Projects

Radiant Orchid Challenge using the Intrepid Thread's leaf tutorial. Can't show any more just yet! And yes, I realize I really need to paint my toenails. It goes like this: paint toenails or work on the quilt. You tell me what's more important ;)

Botanics challenge quilt. They're starting to look like trees, right? Right? I'm basically just sewing and slashing. So relaxing and improv-y.

I feel like I finished up so many projects lately, and now I just have piles of fabric waiting everywhere. Not that that's a bad thing!

  1. Oooh. I love that purple star/cross. So many pretty colours in one place :-)

  2. My toe nail painting story is the same...which is why they've been unpainted for the longest time! I have been thinking about breaking out the red soon though...probably just the warm weather getting to me. Supposed to be a high of 38 tomorrow, so I can probably put off the toe painting impulses for a while ;-) I can't wait! to see how you quilt that little quilt! And yes, those look like trees, which I am loving so far.

  3. I have toenails to be painted too! Just can't reach them ha!

    Your creativity is awesome!

  4. I can't wait to see your radiant orchid challenge quilt! Facets of Emerald was so stunning - I'm just excited about it!

  5. I am excited to see what you do with the botanics!

  6. I am going to check out that tutorial, thank you for sharing the link. Yours is gorgeous!

    Stopping by from Lee's hop

  7. Love the colors of your radiant orchid challenge quilt.

  8. Love the sneak peek of your radiant orchid piece. I vote quilting over toes, myself...

  9. Loving your sneak peak of the Radiant Orchard quilt!

  10. Love what you are working on so far! Can't wait to see more of all of them.

  11. So much going on -- no wonder you don't have time to paint your toe nails! ;-)

Let's start a conversation! I love comments and I'd be happy to reply to all who have an email address accessible. Thanks for commenting!
