Favorite Things Friday #5: Pumpkiny Edition

I love pumpkins! I'm home now for fall break (breathes sigh of relief) and all I want to do is go pumpkin/apple picking.

Plus, since Halloween is already right around the corner, and all the leaves are changing, I'm so in the fall mood! Are you?

This was made by Linda of Stray Stitches - cutest little mug rug ever!
Linda has a great post right now that's all about pumpkins - go check it out. She's part of my inspiration today!

Quilted pumpkins? Cute idea - especially for kids! Cover that pumpkin up in fabric! I'm doing this one day.

Ever since I went to Weimar, Germany, I've been obsessed with ginkgo trees/leaves because it's their symbol - and I adore this pumpkin!

Artsy shots of quilts are the best. Especially when everything is so fall.

  4. I've never given pumpkins a thought - except as a great baked (roasted) vegetable! Halloween is not a big deal here although teachers are using it as a theme in their classrooms and retailers are using it to fill the gap between Fathers' Day in September and Christmas! Anyway, I love your collection of Pinterest pumpkin pictures! Those porcupines are way too cute!
