July Wrap Up: Fresh Sewing Day

Add ImageI'm back from vacation! I'm happy to say that my rotary cutter wound is almost completely healed after one week - and I'm definitely going to be more careful in the future.

I also had a wonderful time visiting my uncle in Washington, D.C. We went to the Newseum, Capitol, Library of Congress (the touristy things I've never done before), and showings of Oklahoma! and Wicked! I wanted to get to the Jefferson Memorial, but alas, time and weather did not allow.

I can't wait to SEW again tonight! I'm participating in the Fresh Sewing Day over at Lily's Quilts - go check it out - she also has a linkup for newer blogs. What a fantastic idea.
