Scrappy Sunday with Dresdens

I was super excited to find out that this month's scrappy color is PURPLE! Can't you tell from my background how much I love it?

This weekend I got to sew a few things I'll be showing over the next week or so!
I took out my purple fabric/scraps for my dresden plate...

I didn't get a chance to cut them yet, but I will soon.
Just wanted to show that I'm really looking forward to this month's scrappy challenge :)

However, I DID finish my yellow one (I actually thought April might be the color yellow, but sometimes it's hard to predict!)

The "funny" or out-of-place print is the Scrabble one - that says "games" in tiles, with the white stars!

I can't help but take a picture of all of them together after I finish one! Blogger is being weird and won't load my picture in the other direction, but oh well. I'm going to make three more plates: purple, orange, and one with all of the colors. Then, I'll lay out the quilt and reveal the rest of my plans for it.

  6. I love the way this is developing into a wonderful scrappy quilt! Purple will be a great addition. I thought it would be yellow, too, and I have fewer yellows than purples!
