Goodbye for study abroad (and some mail goodies)!

For the next two and a half weeks, I will be in Europe - Germany, the Czech Republic, and Poland, to be exact!! I've only ever been up and down the East Coast of the U.S., including Canada, Mexico, and the Bahamas, so this is a big step for me.

I'm on a Holocaust study tour, so while it will be sad and difficult at times, it will also be amazing. We'll be in some of the major cities over there. I'll be updating a few times, with a picture (hopefully of fabric, or quilt stores, or places I find that I think you might want to see!) - and then when I'm home, I'll finally be back to my sewing and blogging schedule, which has been really off the last couple of months! So, I hope you'll stick around!

Layout progress on my quilt for my niece - next time I show it at the end of May, I plan to have the quilt top finished (or possibly the whole quilt) - I can't wait to sew those ladybugs and flowers together when I get back.

Mail goodies recently:

Rainy Days and Mondays, and Sunkissed FQs from 1 Choice 4 Quilting -they have AWESOME customer service!

My monthly solid bundle from the Pink Chalk Fabrics Monthly Solids Club (love it, highly recommend.) Just look at those purples - I think my mouth started to water (sorry for the really blurry picture, but I could NOT get a good shot for some reason!).

Giveaway win from Beth! Thanks Beth!

See you soon!

  1. Lucky you! I spent a month in Munich 2 summers ago and went to Dachau for the day. Very impactful. Take lots of memory cards and an umbrella and layers. We went in June/July and froze and molded. Enjoy!
