I love love love the feathers, everything about this bag just screams "JESS!" You're going to have so much fun at Quiltcon :)

Not that I'm an expert or anything, but random bag making tip that I've picked up, don't interface your seam allowances, so if you're making your bag 12 inches, leave 1/2" (standard bag seam allowance that I've come across) on each side un-interfaced. That should help with your top stitching problem.Lizhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09385262695954588401noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8017288345711987555.post-46752816139567026352015-02-09T06:42:02.255-05:002015-02-09T06:42:02.255-05:00Well done; it looks very practical.Well done; it looks very practical.Lynnehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07760744006915967397noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8017288345711987555.post-26868915878339050542015-02-08T10:21:33.044-05:002015-02-08T10:21:33.044-05:00Woo hoo for you and your quilty bag finish! I love that you fussy cut the bird! I don't think that quilting is "graffiti style" at all, and is actually a lot prettier (can you tell I'm not a fan of this new style, haha). You did a fantastic job on this bag, it really shows off your personality and quilting interests :-)Reneehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11843675387693755387noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8017288345711987555.post-91198494578335823152015-02-07T15:57:36.443-05:002015-02-07T15:57:36.443-05:00Wonderful job!
