An Ode to Scrappy Low Volume Quilts

Scrappy low volume quilts, oh how I love you.

I never seem to have enough prints because all I want to do is mix and match you.
Your versatile nature makes these bold sunset colors pop.
And these muted rainbow colors pop.
Text prints - you have my heart, too.
It just wouldn't be the same if you were all one fabric.
You make the quilting part a dream.
All that "negative space"... sigh.
Scrappy low volume... never change.

[Low volume mug rug, for CJMQG May swap]

All my love,

  2. I love all the fabrics you are using in this pattern test. I enjoy looking at all the different scraps and recognising different fabrics lines.

  3. 'It just wouldn't be the same if you were all one fabric.' I know what you mean! Years ago, I made a stack and slash LV/cream background to applique flowers on. It was so pretty that I was tempted not to add the flowers!
